The Z's brakes dust like crazy. There have been many posts about this. Just upgrade your pads.

Hawk HPS. You need only change the fronts only, I did mine a few days ago, and no more gunmetal rims.

Once you get the Hawk HPS pads (or other if you have a preference), the only thing you'll wonder is why you didn't do it... sooner. I lived with the dust for a year and a half. I should have bought them *the day* I bought the car.

Hawk pads, almost no dust. Night and day over stock pads.

I use Hawk HPS Pads (Incredibly low dust output) and I coat my wheel with Brake Dust Repellant. Outcome? My wheel is always clean looking.

If you're not ready to change your pads just yet, try the Michelin Wheel and Tire Care System's Brake Dust Repellent. This formulation has drastically reduced the amount of dust on my rims and the dust that accumulates is easily wiped off. It's sold at AutoZone or online for now.

Hawks. MUCHO lower dust. I also think they improve braking over OEM. I'm very happy w/ mine. Got what I think was a fair price and quick ship from Stillen.

Also try Project Mu NS brake pads. Much lower dust and much better bite.

Long story short, you can't get rid of it permanently. Hard pads=low dust+squeal. Soft pads=mucho dust+quiet. I hasten to add, the hawks stop the car a helluvalot better than OEM. IMO a little squeal is a small price to pay, especially when I'm on the inside of the cabin w/ music playing on the Bose, and not next to me. lol.
