Default Hotchkis Springs Question

ok so cancelled my order for Tein S-Techs and ordered the Hotchkis. MAIN QUESTION IS-who has used JUST the sprigns and nothing additional and had ZERO problems? i am hoping to get away with using JUST the springs for my minimal drop. i have been going through searches and found conflicting reports as to whether or not this can be done without buying camber arms or sways. feedback will be greatly appreciated.

The drop is less than 1" (far less) and far as I've read, there's no issue with having to buy camber arms or sways (I'm not sure what sawys have to do with it at all actually). I will probably be putting on my Hotchkis springs (against my better judgment, as I already frucked up my front with the stock springs), if you want to wait a month.

From what I've read, camber arms would be required to bring it in spec if you drop 1" or more (1" pushing it, but people have posted that they've dropped 1" or even more without buying camber arms).

Why did you decide to go with hotchkis and not with the teins?

I installed the Hotchkis springs and sway bars at one time. After the install, I was able to get it back in alignment WITHOUT any camber or toe correction kits. There was enough factory adjustment ability to get it within the specs.

solely for the fact that the Hotchkis drops more in the rear for a more even stance.

forgive my stupidity, but what are the sways for?

Well, it's all handling related (springs would fall into that category, as would sways), but sways control the stiffness and roll a different way (springs also control the stiffness and roll so you can see how it is confusing).

Someone else could probably explain it better, heh.

I've had my car for about a month and installed hotchkis springs about 3 weeks ago. Everything else is stock. Did my alignment 1 week after spring install and everything was fine. I have a printout of the alignment specs, so if u want I can post them. On a side note the car is definitely smoother on the freeway now and body roll has been improved.
