Question All that work/money just for Springs...??

If im looking to drop my Z around 1.5" do i really have to get new struts, A arms and get the camber adjusted? Or can i just put some Eibach springs on and be fine? I was told my stock struts wouldnt last 2 weeks and id wear out the tires alot faster just getting springs.

a 1.5" drop will wear out your absorbers relatively quickly. Also, you will get some decent tire wear due to the negative camber that would be present without some sort of adjustable camber arms.

If you went with a spring setup like Hotchkis (9/16" front, 3/4" rear) springs, you absorbers will wear decently well and you will be able to allign to within stock specs.

New struts? No. (Not in 2 weeks anyway.)

Increased tire wear? Yes.

When you lower your car, you're throwing your alignment our of spec, toe and camber.

For your fronts, you can adjust the toe, but not the camber. You'll need front A-arms to adjust the camber. For the rears, you will need to buy camber arms and toe bolts to pull everything back into spec.

You don't need to buy these parts. You can lower your car and be done with it. It all depends on how much tire wear you're willing to live with.

PS: I thought the Eibach's dropped the car 1"?
