Hawks or EBC brake pads?
It's finally getting to me on cleaning off the brake dust! I like to know from someone who has experienced the difference between the Non Brembo Hawk HPS vs EBC Greenstuff front brake pads? Also...the Hawk Performance ceramic vs the EBC Redstuff ceramic's. Is there such a thing as 90% elimination of brake dust?
I'm just an average driver & I'm looking for pads that will give the least amount of brake dust. Is it a toss-up between the 2 brands? A friend of mine says that if I buy the ceramic's...they cut into the rotors easily. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had my Hawk HPS padds on for nearly 20,000 miles. I commute 100 miles a day and absolutely love the pads. dust is almost nonexistant compared to OEM and they perform as well if not better.
Make sure you apply "No Squeak" to the back of the pads and follow the "bedding" instructions to the letter and you should have no issues.
Mine are just beginning to squeak slightly but I know I'm due for some new pads soon anyway.
