Default Tein H Tech springs

Yes, I did a search before posting.

I noticed that almost everyone that has gone with Tein Springs went with the S-Tech. I'm looking to lower my Z at least 1". Should I get the S-tech too instead of the H-tech? What are the differences between the 2 that helped make your decision? I'd appreciate your suggestions. I just want to do it right the 1st time. Thanks in advance.

The S.Tech's are green, they lower the car more agressively and has a higher springrate for a sportier/stiffer feel.

The H.Tech's are a bronze/brownish color and lowers the car about an inch for the lower look but not too agressively; it has a stocklike springrate for a stocklike ride, it is very very slightly stiffer than stock.

We have many TEIN dealers to choose from.

Neither drops it an inch but the S-Techs are closer. Advertised drop for H-Techs is .3"/.2" and the S-Techs is .7"/.6".

So what is the drop on these springs. I also saw somewhere that the S-Tech is about a 1.5 inch drop, which sounds right with what Mike is saying. Does anyone know exactly what the drop is on both of these springs? I do not see much of a point in buying springs that will drop your car 2/10 of in inch in the rear, if in case that is true.

The Tein S-Techs lower the car 1.5" all the way around meaning .7" in the front and .6" in the rear. I know it dones't make sense when it's worded like that.

The Tein H-Techs lower the car .3" in the front and .2" in the rear. The H-Techs are more for ride quality not looks.

I have the S-Techs and I love them, lowers it just right if you are planning on getting 19'' rims.
