Default Question about brembo brakes

Guys, there is this guy in my area selling slightly used [3Kmiles] set of G35/350Z track brembos [calipers and rotors only] and I would like to know If Ill be able to use my OEM lines and brackets with those brakes or I need more then that to get it going,

Also how much setup like this is worth?
I saw people paying a lot for it and there’s a guy who got the set with lines, brackets and pads for $650… so different situations different prices…

that $650 was a freak of nature discount....seller must have been desperate

actually weren't those ones for $650 from a wrecked car?

I would say that those brakes would be worth about 1800 USD especially since they only have 3K on them.

I just purchased a set off of a 35th anniversary for 2250 CDN. They had <100 KM on them. It however included all lines and bolts etc.

if he only has the calipers and rotors, (assuming all the parts are included on the caliper) you will need to buy
1. new pads (depending on the meat left on them)
2. turn the rotors (assuming they are in good shape)
3. rear caliper mounting bolts (longer bolts needed for the rear brembo calipers) See if he will give you these too.
4. ss braided brake lines (might as well if you have all the calipers off anyway)
5. motul brake fluid (not necessary, but another might as well)

The front caliper bolts should work though if he doesn't give them to you, and you will need to cut the rear rotor shields as they will get in the way of the new larger rear rotors. That's about it.

The brakes are yours… if someone wants them
I got car payment due this week and it seems like James [seller] wants them gone sooner then I could come up with cash.
