Racing Brake Fluid - Change more often??
So, I'm about to put on the Stoptech "Stage 2" upgrade kit, and am hearing that when I go to full synthetic Brake Fluid, like the Motul RBF600 that the kit comes with, that its recommended to change it a lot more frequent. Is this true? How often should it be changed? I don't track the car often enough to really NEED the RBF600, so if I have to change it out every 6 months, I'd rather go with something else.
Anyone have more information?

you should replace regular brake fluid every two years... more often if you do a lot of miles
you should replace racing brake fluid once a year... more often if you do a lot of track events... for street use only, you can get away with every two years...
if you don't really need something as aggressive as Motul, then I suggest Valvoline SynPower fluid. It's better than OEM, doesn't need to be replaced every year and can handle the occassional track event...
still have questions or concerns??? then JET's suggestion is probably the best... the guys at Stoptech are always happy to help and offer solutions...

With the RBF you dont need to change any more frequent... But, if you are tracking the car, you want to make sure you have as much Dry brake fluid as possible... Althought the RBF600 has one of the highest Wet Ratings out of all the other brake fluid in the price range...
