Did a search for this, but didn't turn up anything. I was looking at a G35 over the weekend, and it looks like it has bigger brakes and two piston calipers (non-brembo). I have an '05 Z, and am curious if anyone has tried to fit the G35 stuff on a Z, and if so what did it cost?

I'm interested in that too....and I'm gonna be doing a search to see if the G coupe has same tranny as the Z. (6 speed)

 

I wonder exactly what G you were looking at. AFAIK the G has the same brakes. Maybe a newer (05?) or AWD version??

All '05 Coupes and Sedans got bigger brakes. And as you know the 6MT coupe lost the Brembos.

'05 G Sedan and Coupes
Front: 12.6-inch X 1.1-inch power-assisted
Rear: 12.1-inch X .63-inch power-assisted vented disc

'05 Z Coupe and Roadster
Front: 11.65'' x 0.95'' Vented disc, single caliper pistons
Rear: 11.50'' x 0.63'' Vented disc, single caliper piston

I believe someone over on G35driver put the bigger '05 brakes on a pre '05 car with no problems so it should simply bolt on to the Z as well.
