Default Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads?

Hey gang...

At a car show this past weekend, I won a set of Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads. I've only got ~600 miles on my Z, and havent had any problems with my brakes, but I'm tired of cleaning the brake dust off my rims every other day. (Good God at the dust these OEM's produce!!! )

Anybody running the Perf Friction pads? I see alot of posts about Hawk HPS pads...and I know they are good as I had them on my last car. How do the Perf Friction pads compare to these, both in feel and in amount of dusting?

Thanks!

i've had a set of performance friction pads on my 99 prelude. they are good pads. i've auto-x'd a whole season on them and they did fine. the pads dust about the same as the o.e. pads on the prelude.... if not more. i had white wheels on the prelude so, you do the math.

they are relatively cheap @ around 45bucks a set at autozone. they come with a 2 yr free replacement too. so use em for two years, and before the 2yr is up, take em off and get a free replacement.... regardless of how much of the pad is left.

I just replaced my Axxis Ult. with PF's. Considerable less dust and a much smoother grip. But the AU's were a higher performance pad.

PFC...best racing brake company. We are working on a brake caliper package with them also.
