Default Bad Shop Experience - Brake Quote

Hey Guys,

Man what a day... But, Ill just skip straight to the point here. Premiere Autotechniks has provided me with the worst shop experience I've had in a long time. I'll leave you all the info on the shop at the end so you know to avoid them but anyways... I walk in and inform the shop owner that I'm the one who called about an emergency brake repair on a 2003 350Z. My mother borrowed the car and rode around all day with the ebrake up. I figured all I needed were shoes and maybe a drum resurfacing. A technician from the back room comes in and assures me all I will probably need is a new set of shoes and that he will take a look at it in a moment. I wait close to two hours, the stools are covered with boxes and I am not once offered a seat except when finally a polite young boy (probably about 12) comes over and asks if i'd like a seat. The owner takes my car to the back and says I cannot be in the work area while they inspect the car (insurance purposes). I agree after he says I can inspect the drum once it has been opened up. No more than five minutes later he comes back, it is obvious nothing was checked. He informs me that I am in need of a completely new brake system: pads, rotors, lines, EVERYTHING. I inform him that the brake system has already been replaced by a stop-tech stage 2 setup and is in perfect condition. Regardless, the regular brake system is not utilized when the e-brake is engaged it is a separate drum assembly. He looks at me with this "oh ****" face and continues on: "Hm you need new brake lines and a new emergency brake cable". I informed him that the lines come with the stop tech stage 2 setup and the cable was replaced under warranty. At this point I am furious that someone would try to take advantage of me so nasty, a fellow nissan enthusisast at that (he had mainly nissans wearing the shop's decals). He puts his ear to the phone and calls up the dealer asking for shoes... I just walked out. This is probably the worst experience I have had in a long time and I would suggest everyone avoid:

Premiere Autotechniks
9874 Pines Blvd

Oh and buy the way, I contacted Performance Nissan and they supplied me with an excellent price on shoes. Beat my local dealer by more than $20 even with shipping. Service guys were also extremely helpful and courteous.

The guy must've worked at some chain lube shops previous to this...always looking for women who they assume won't know crap so they start adding things the customer "needs." Pathetic.

In two hours, you could have called another shop, got a quote and prob had the work done by then. I would have left after 20 mins in that situation.

All you probably need to replace is the shoe that rubs the inside of the rear rotors which acts as the ebrake on our car. Just take off the wheels, caliper, and rotor and you will see it.

Can't you call the Better Business Bureau BBB. They usually investigate these types of places and if they screw anyone they get either fined or lose their business.
