Default T2 Coils and end links with EVO350 sways, upper a arm, camber kit in the rear

I just got installed the last mod for a while. I added the T2 coils. I lowered the fornt .8" and the rear 1". I like the ride, it is firm but not much stiffer then the standard springs. There is no rattle and the install and allignment was gets me back to -3deg front and -2.5 deg rear. This is still my daily driver. the tire wear is much worse in the front but I only drive 10 miles a day so I still get a year and a half out of a set of fronts. I just swap them side to side after 5000 miles. I plan to make this my track only car next year so tire wear is not an issue for me. Other guys change their camber prior to track days.

I have now converted to the 350EVO setup and am very satified with the improvement in times and the overall handeling on the track. It is still a good traveling car. When I travel to the track I pull a trailer with my trace tires and other equipment. I am having a great time and just wanted to take this chance to pass on the information if anyone is commited to building up a great track car. 350EVO parts are not cheap but you get the best quality and preformance.

Default Yes

I had read that Jason was running this in T2 and others had felt that the ride was only slightly firmer. I would concur it is just slightly firmer. I do find I will have to increase the firmness of the shocks for the track. I notice under hard acceleration and cornering I am starting to notice a little bounce in the rear. I have not run it on the track yet only a little mountian driving.

Only slightly firmer I have to ask, how many miles are your initial impression's drawn apon?

Nismo T2 350Z Linear springs 1”/1” drop on 350Z
Spring rates in LBS 625/700
Stiffer then oem 2003/2004 springs by F +200% R +205%

Are you certain that your bounce is coming from the rear? Even at a oem Z ride height I've only got 1.5" of bump travel on the front's, taking away .8" of that and it'll hit the bump stops around corners for sure. IMO, verify your factual amounts of bump travel. Also, make certain you really have enough rebound control. I'm running Koni's with a lot less spring and over the course of over 800 miles of testing, the shocks don't have enough rebound control for all the road surfaces I drive over in a given day. Even at full stiff, I've never even been close to experience "jacking" (where the rebound is so stiff that repeated bumps drive the piston up and up, never returning in a timely manner). I cannot imagine the same shock, unrevalved with 600lbs spring rates based on how it deals with 448lbs rates that I'm running.

I'm pondering a variety of things. One, making my own upper shock mounts to improve bump travel, two adding another 1/2" of preload and having Koni slice off 1" just above the lower mount's to maintain shock travel and have something of a reduced ride height, three have Koni shorten the shock bodies and piston shafts and have the shocks revalved for a little less high speed bump and about 50% more rebound range.

Yes all the T2 racers are running this spring package. I know Jason H is still running the Koni SA Yellow shocks with these springs on his T2 car. Most of the other T2 guys have DA shocks from Koni etc.
