The two springs are simular in drop height, but differ in one critical element. The Front S-tech springs are progressive, while all 4 RSR springs are linear. For those unconcerned about performance or how the car behaves at the handling limit's and just wanting a slight drop, this won't matter. Given what the the car is about, I say it does.

Tein S-tech 350Z spring

RSR Down Springs 350Z

RSR 350Z linear springs .6”/.6” drop on 350Z
Spring rates in LBS 345/417
Stiffer then oem 03/04 without revised suspension by F+10% R+22%
Stiffer then oem 04.5+ (revised suspension) by F+10% R-3%

Tein S-tech 350z (fronts progressive, rears linear) .7”/.6” drop on 350Z
Spring rates in lbs 386/402
Stiffer then oem 03/04 without revised suspension by F+23%* R+16%
Stiffer then oem 04.5+ with revised suspension by F23%* R-6%
*(final rates only, softer initial front progressive rate unknown)

If your rear shocks have a pale yellow metalic colored label with a bar code on them, yes. I would not ask the oem rear shocks to handle more then 427lbs anyhow, not unless upgrading the shocks was also part of the plan.
