what have you heard about coilovers affecting it? my vdc system does some pretty strange stuff and i can't figure out if its just a sensor or what. driving around normal in the dry is about as i'd expect it if you corner too quickly or shift into 2nd too fast but i can spin the tires at least a few revolutions in the wet from a stand still without even seeing the slip or vdc light. also it seems to trigger the slip light and reduce power when i drive up a steep driveway at an angle.. and finally after turning vdc off i can do doughnuts and other fun things but it feels like my front brakes pulse the first time i come to a stop immediately afterwards

no suspension mod should affect the way the VDC works on the Z. On my track model, which also has VDC, i have sway bars and springs, and I have no problems at all. A lot of companies, including Nismo, say their equipment isn't to be used with VDC only because the haven't tested on cars that are VDC equipped.
