Default What is the benefit of an upgraded strut bar?

I was just wondering, since the Z already has a stock one, what is the benefit of upgrading to an aftermarket front strut bar? The stock one is adjustable, and most of the aftermarket ones I've seen are not. Does that matter? Is it just for looks, or are there actually improvements to be made?

The stocker is a pretty good unit as it is....I've also been told the stock is the better than most aftermarket's..

Most people that get new ones are making room for a new Plenum (i.e. the crawford plenum). The Crawford one claims it is a bit stronger, but I doubt if there is any significant difference besides the plenum differences.
