So this is for an 03 G35Sedan......
Are the 'Tanabee' springs anygood? They are the ones that lower the car 1.5 in the front 1.0 in the rear......
Anyone have them installed? or know anything about them???
Regards,

I went over my master spring chart and with the specs pulled off Tanabe's web site, no G or Z application matches the drop amount's you've given. Can you tell me the model of spring and application (G coupe, G sedan or Z). And tell me again exactly what vehicle they would be for? All their application's for the G and Z do use progressive rates, but I'm not sure if your after performance or not.
Tanabe NF210 G35 SEDAN progressive springs 1.6”/.9” drop on G35 sedan
Spring rates in LBS 297/269
Softer then oem sport springs by F-5% R-21%
Vs. oem non sport springs F+5% R-11%
Another choice you can look into are the Tein H-techs
Tein H-tech G35 sedan 1.4"/.7" drop (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in lbs 324/260 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown)
Stiffer or softer then oem sport springs springs by F+ 5% R-22%
Vs. oem non sport springs F+15% R-12%
Neither spring will see much performance gain, keep in mind that progressive springs compromise performance for the sake of upping comfort.
Oem 2003 Z springs would drop you 1"/1" maintain comfort and not trade any performance since they are not progressive. But, if you have a non sport sedan, the deals off, since your weaker shocks would actually behave better with progressive springs like the tein's or tanabe's.
