my new 350z & question about big brakes
well, yesterday i traded my track 350z for a touring 350z.
my track was a chrome silver. i was not satisfied with the color so i traded it for another color (white) which is a touring model. i lost $1500.00 in the process and i lost the navigation that was in my track.
well i now have a touring model, but the dealer included the aero package to my touring and gave me the track wheels for my touring. i now have a fully loaded touring.
the only thing i don't have that is not on my touring is the big brembo brake kit.
what other big brake kits are there for the 350z.
what are your guys preference and suggestions?
thanx,
john350z

Stoptech
I had the 13.1" kit on my Audi A4. I had that car at the track 8 times this year and the Stoptechs are incredible. I never once had any fade issues.
They make two different kits. One has a 332mm (13.1") rotor, the other has a 355mm (14") rotor. You can also buy a 4-wheel Stoptech kit, but there is no performance benefit to the larger rear brakes.
My Z should be here in March, and I plan to have the 332x32 Stoptech kit in the garage waiting for the car to arrive. Great brakes, easy to install, easy to maintain.

Hope that helps.

Brembo does offer 2 kits a 332mm rotor and a 355mm rotor ... they even showed a 380 kit with 8 piston calipers at SEMA but, that isn't a mass produced kit available to the public
I like Stoptech's kits and they have one for the 350 ...

yeah, they gave me the aero package and let me keep the rays! i'm supposed to be receiving my 19" gunmetal volks today and hopefully putting them on today.
right now i see the consensus is stoptech big brakes. what is the main advantage between stoptech, brembo, and ap racing big brake kits.
i had a chrome silver track with carbon cloth.
i now have a pikes peak white with frost/light gray leather interior.
what do you think of the white with gray leather interior. your honest opinion guys!
thanx,

-- Well, they are all good kits. I think of the bunch, the Stoptech is the least expensive. Also, Stoptech has a different desing to the caliper, makesit more rigid. I know a guy who has the Brembo kit on his A4 and he likes it. I know another guy with the AP kit on his S4 and he likes it. I had the Stoptechs on my A4 and I liked it. So, I don't think you can go wrong.

--Not my favorite combination. I think the light interior washes out with a light color car. I like the PPW, however. Too many CS running around.
