Would you lower this Z?!?!?!
Guys I am really struggling about if I should lower and also use spacers on my wheels to complete the look. I don't know if it is worth it. Some Z's I can see it is obvious but half the people I ask are 50/50. I will try to get another pic but this is all I have right now on this PC.
The offset of my wheels is +35 but for some reason they don't look terrible.
Thanks

From the pic it looks like you have very little space between the tire and fender. I don't think you need to lower it.
However, if the space bothers you now, it will bother you everytime you look at the car until you lower it. That's how I get about details like that.

If you're considering dropping your car, get some tein s-techs. It lowers it just a TAD bit which IMO make a big difference in looks with aftermarket rims. I wouldn't drop it more than the .6 inches that the s-techs offer though. Slammed cars just aren't practical where I live. I would scrape the bottom 5x as much as I do already.

I lowered my Z 1" all 4 corners and here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
1. I love the way it looks.
2. I think it handles better than stock. The negative camber is great for cornering.
3. Ride is smoother believe it or not than stock.
Cons:
1. Speed bumps. Scraping is a way of life now and even exiting steep driveways is bad news. You learn to drive accross bumps etc on angles and slow down to a crawl. This will force you to change the way you drive on a daily basis.
2. If you go beyond .75" drop, you will be out of spec on camber (regardless if you get a 4 wheel alignment or not, which i did BTW) thus wear the inside of your tires. I got toyo TS1's on mine which are suppose to be a good wearing performance tire. After 13K miles, mine are almost down to nothing thus maybe 2k more on them. At over $1000 a set the question arises... How bad do you want to drop your Z?

What if I just got some 15mm wheels spacers, maybe that will give a nice aggressive look but without the headache of all the lowering, and camber issues? The wheels do sit in a bit with the 35 offset on the HP's 19's? Thoughts...

Really so the Hotchkis and the tein s techs only need a wheel alignment after and I will be good to go...hmmmm well that is good to hear. I heard I had to go trough the whole camber adjustments and all that jazz with either of those kits...
I will look into it.
Any good sites for the Hotchkis, they are harder to find the Eibach's

It depends, but the lower you go the more negative camber you will have. That is why I recommended the springs I did, because they will give you the best chance at being within stock alignment specs while closing up some of the gap. I know Intense carries the Hotchkis springs, and you might want to consider getting the sway bars as well. You can get the whole package for around $400 shipped.

1nate7, is this the kit you were talking about? Will this also lower the car, it doesn't say in the decription. Also is it about an inch? More / Less.
After this kit just a wheel alignment and I am good to go?
Thanks
