Default 14 inch Stoptech, Brembo BBK

Guys, I am looking for front 14 inch BBK for my Z.
Which one you think is better? I have around $3,000 for it.

I have heard good and bad things from the GREX kit. But I have heard only the best about the Stoptechs and AP Racing so I would go with one of those.

I absolutely love them, after i broke them in i couldn’t believe on the braking power they had. They run for about 3200, different distributors charge a slightly different price, i can even give you a phone number of a vendor that distributes these brakes to all the high end shops in LA.

Race Technologies 310 306 3158 link

They are the main distributor for all over US.

As far as break pads go, they last for a good amount of time, well depending on your breaking habits, you get the pads by making a single call to the number above and ordering them directly from brembo

You really can't go wrong with any of the top brands. I personally went with the StopTechs, but the Brembo's, AP's and Grex(Alcon) are all good choices.

Support our sponsors . I'm in the market for some myself. I'll go with stoptec or Brembos 13", right now I can't afford a full kit so I'm buying the front ones first. I think the prices at Jason's are pretty competative.

I just bought a 4 wheel Stoptech 13" kit for not a lot more than that, so you might want to look around. ST-40 calipers front on 332mm rotors, st-22 calipers rear on 328mm rotors. Fluid, lines included. I have G35 and on the track my rear rotors were fried after 5 hot laps at Buttonwillow. If it wasn't for that I might have gone with a front only kit. Talk to Coz (www.czp.us). He's a site sponsor and has some really good prices.

Brembo is the best BBK out there for Z.
I am sure they are much better than Stoptech, AP Racing, Rotora....
Most high end cars have Brembo brakes...including NASCAR......Leman......
Go with Brembo. You can't go wrong.

Brembos are really nice, but when I drove my friends Z with the 6 pot AP's, I will have to say that is what I want to change out to now.

If you have 3k i would do the stoptech’s, This is our opinion and only ours, but we have been a dealer for AP racing and have come across many problems with them, such as seals breaking on the calipers, my AP Racing distributor now makes us sign a wavier when we bought these kits, so we no longer carry them due to the liability. The AP racing BBK's are meant for race and race only, meaning that they should be rebuilt.

But let me know what you want, and we can get it for you.
