how well do axis ultimate Brake pads hold up on the track?

Since these pads come stock with stoptech's BBK, was thinking they must be at least semi ok on the track right?

Do not use them on the track. Last year just after getting the my Stoptechs I forgot to put my track pads in and the Axxis faded after about 3 laps. One of the few times I've ever gone off track. Once I got to the pits and took a look at them, the rubber backing had melted off and the pad was warped. They can't take the heat, they are really not a track day pad.
Lots of alternatives though. But now you will start to eat rear pads like they are cookies. ;-)

Finally found the warning on the Axxis box itself.
"This Kevlar and Ceramic-strengthened compound offers far and away the best price to performance ratio currently available in a high performance street pad. Performing a proper bedding procedure is critical to the performance of this pad but once complete, you can expect truly world class bite, MOT, minimal rotor wear, pad wear, and noise levels. Dust is medium to high. On front engine platforms, the Ultimate is excellent for aggressive street and autocross use in the front calipers. It also works very well in the rear for applications ranging from aggressive street to moderate track use. Ultimate is NOT recommended for use on road courses in front calipers. Doing so can cause pad deposition on rotors as well as the resulting vibration. Street only. OK for club level track use in rear calipers.

We put a neon pink sticker on the box when we ship these pads out with our kits...NOT FOR USE ON A RACETRACK. Get a good set of race pads. If you run these on the track, you run a high risk of destroying your rotors...don't do it!
