Anyone using MOTUL DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid in their Z? Manual says DOT 4, any issues?

Same here-

I track mine pretty hard twice a year, and that is murder on brake fluid!

 

with dot 5 companies recomend to change brake sistem because the quimicals used on dot5 products destroy the rubber used on street cars. be carefull driving your Z hard bacause you dont know when is going to fail.

 

i use ate blue .. i think you would not have to change out ate as often

That is Dot 5, but the discussion is Dot 5.1, which is different than Dot 5. AFAIK Dot 5.1 it should be safe for use on the Z. I personally am using ATE super blue.

 

its not a silicone base fluid... so no troubles...

The RBF600 is a better fluid though...
