Default Winter Coilover question

hi my friend was advising me not to install coilovers since i live in toronto and even tho my Z is garage kept during the winter he said something like when the winter comes people take the coilovers off even when garage, i forgot for what reason can anyone help me with this? i was hoping to install tein basics on my roadster but im also considering koni yellows with some eibach springs for a 1.5 drop will that work?

I have never heard anyone say that before, and it doesnt even make much sense. I have had many cars, all with coilover suspensaion, and have never taken them off in the winter. It doesnt even make sense why you would.

if youre interested I have a set of D2 coilovers for sale only a month old, DIRT CHEAP.

he lives in the snow belt... so do i
meaning coilovers are very prone to rusting due to salt (for the roads)
you on the other hand NC is warm state... not much snow
