Default Shocks and Springs

I am considering getting new shocks and springs for my Z and wanted to make switching the fronts simpler by putting together the new shock and spring and not use parts off the original fronts. I saw this on the performance Nissan web site :

http://performancenissanparts.com/ca...oducts_id=3532

Is this all I would need to put the fronts together prior to installing?

I am considering the RS-R Ti 2000 with Konis or Tokico.

Thanks.

The kit is useful for a coilover (Tein Basic) than does not include the hats (performance nissan kit). By purchasing the kit you avoid taking your original shock/spring to a shop and paying the remove the EOM hats. Since the springs on a coilvers can be brought down completly without compresson any body can mount the kit to their coilvers.

In your case you will still have to take the purchased kit to a shop in order to compress the spring enough to allow the hat installation. You will have to spend another $20-80 (depending on shop) to place both hats on your new spring and shock combo......

Skip the kit and take off OEM Shocks (2 front) and pay $20-80 to replace hats to your new combo.

Good Luck.

Those Tokico's are a great choice.
