Default Just installed my GF210, THANKS Josh (anotheraznguy)

Just got done with my install of the Tanabe GF210. Front dropped 1.0' and rear 1.2'. Josh aka Anotheraznguy did the install along with Dana of Auto RnD. These guys did my car and a friend's car within 2 hours!! They knew exactly what they were doing and fast and not to mention they were friendly like a couple of guys begging for crack! =) If anyone needs any kind of mechanic installs, go to these guys, there are in North Cali, Bayarea. THANKS guys! GREAT job!

Driving impression after install: The ride is much smoother, not as bouncy as stock and the grip is way better then stock. Around turns, the car grips the road like there's no tomorrow, no body roll whatsoever. During takeoff, the Z's rear end is more planted to the ground, unlike the bouncy tire hop you get from the stock springs. All in all, these springs are well worth the money. Got the springs from Hopup Racing for $180 shipped, can't go wrong with a price like that!

thats funny...i just got the same springs installed by Josh as well a couple days ago. I agree with you on the ride/handling. Much smoother than stock. Here are some quick pics...

I will see if it will lower a bit more once it settles...

Damn man, that's lookin' nice! Think the last time I saw your ride was at that BBQ dent meet oh so long ago, and I don't remember it looking like that

I had my GF210 installed yesterday too..!

love the look, but dunno about the ride.

I don't feel any handling improvement "yet", all I feel was the stiff ride.

But overall, I am all happy.

Wow, everyone is jumping on the GF210 bandwagon now.

I have been rocking these since the week after I bought my car, great springs. Funny, I'm also on the winnings

Great job guys!

How did the ride get smoother with springs that are lower and stiffer? One would expect better handling but worse ride...can someone elaborate please?

they are progressive springs, so the initial rate on the springs is actually lower than stock.

my Z with race wheels... sitting on GF210s right now, but I'm going to some tokico linear springs as soon as they get here.

Just the right amount of lowering I think.

Anyone have and feathering issues? My friend has eibachs and it just eats his rear tires like nothing. I have hotchkis now which I love but I want to go a little bit lower. Nice car btw.

I am almost done with a set of DS-G3s, and they've only been on the car for 10,000 miles. The fronts wear very even, but the rears have about 1/8" of tread above the wear bars on the outside, and they are down to the wear bars on the inside. Which sucks, because the fronts have only worn about 1/8" in total!!

Good thing I snagged a set of RE070s for $200!

nice looking ride selski...

FYI, now that your dropped around an inch F/B, your going to want to get the camber arms for the front and toe/camber pkg. for the rear. Unless you like the aggressive camber? If not, you're going to wear thru your tires pretty quick, especially the rear. Trust me...

especially for a spring combo i think they can't be beat.. especially when they lower the car that much...

can one of you guys maybe post your alignment numbers after the drop. I need to get mine aligned sometime this week, seeing as I put these springs on a week ago. I do have the rear camber/toe kit as well.

you only need a rear camber/toe kit to get back into spec. You shukd be able to get back into spec in the front without aftermarket parts. I have the SPC kit.
