Default Please Help, Performance Nissan's OEM Replacement Parts Site

If I were to buy brake pads such as Project Mu B-force or Endless Nuova, both of them DON'T come with shims as far as I know.

If anyone thinks otherwise, please stop me now and tell me.

Right now I have the Hawk HPS pads which came with shims attached. Anyway, I am looking into getting one of these 2 brake pads since I want to get rid of the HPS, and I left my stock shims somewhere that I probably can't get them back.

Regarding the Performance Nissan OEM parts website, check this link...it mentions a "backing plate" for the brakes.

Are these the shims I need? Someone please help me out...
I can't imagine what else a "backing plate" might be.

A backing plate is the dust shield that goes behind the rotor.
