Default springs shock combos

I need to get some springs and shocks for my 05 Z. I don't want adjustability, (thus no coilovers) I don't want to lower my car to the point that I start running into camber problems. Could you post some recommendations? Thanks

on my 03 I'm running RS*R springs (0.6" drop in all four corners) with 04.5 stock shocks. The stock springs are a little soft and and IMO over work the shocks. I like my setup and it is very tight without being abusive. On your 05 the shocks are valved pretty good even with a mild drop.

It's not case of the 03/04 springs overworking the shocks, it's a case of the shocks trying to hard themselves. A ton of compression dampning and not enough rebound control. The revised setup for 04.5+ car's use the same front spring rates, but increases the rear spring rate +27%. The revised shocks have less compression dampning and more rebound control. Some have and will lament the new setup's lessor compression damping specs however.

Two additional things that are on topic to the above. When Koni R&D'd their sport shock for the car, one of their specific mission's was to use less compression dampning. Also, the Hothkis springs use a lower rear spring rate as a method to bring rear 03/04 shock performance within a exceptable norm.

Sidenote: I have the Koni shocks and IMO they use a digressive (sp?) valving system where they tighten up more when higher piston speeds occur. Hopefully I can have a conversation with Gordon this week to discuse some final issues with my setup.
