Default Anybody has experience with "frozen" rotors?

I'm looking for new rotors and found this:
http://www.frozenrotors.com/frozen101.shtml

Sounds interesting, but it's something I can't see, feel or test. So, theoretically, they can just put "frozen" label on a perfectly OEM rotor and ship it...

This may actually be valid, but I'm not a materials scientist so I'm not totally sure.

If you know the composition of the rotor (wt% carbon, what type of steel, etc) then you can look up a phase diagram and see what happens at 77K (liquid N2 temps).

Or I could ask a materials scientist and get back to you.

Lot of my former Maxima forum members ran those, and I only read good reviews

why not go stoptech rotors or ebc sport rotors just to be on the safe side (and aethestically pleasing side)

Default Cryo Treatment

This is very good to reduce warpping under high temperature operation like Laguna Seca Race Track.

Just thought I'd point out you can get powerslot rotors with the frozen rotors cryo treatment.

$153.95 for one front rotor, $145.95 for one rear. Best price I've found yet, I think I may get a set of fronts as my front rotors are just about out of tolerance.
