Raybestos Ceramic Pads
Well 24,000 miles came around and it was time to change the brakes, after taking them off it looked like I only had a few more hard stops left on the front pads. Origionally I was going to go for Project Mu B force pads, but couldn't justify paying that much for pads I beat the snot out of, so I figured I'd stick with OEM, they never let me down before, the dust sucks but I was my car all the time so I said whatever. Well I get to the dealer at 4:45 just to find out they closed at 4:30, who does that???
Well I wanted pads right then because it was perfect timing to just go over to my fathers shop and put it up on the lift so I figured whatever, and went across the street to an auto store and told them I wanted good pads, so they give me Raybestos Ceramic pads, I figure why not. Plus they were only $46.
Well I put them on, (only the fronts, the backs are this week) and I couldn't be happier. Performance seems identical to stock if not a little better. Initial bite is great, fade doesn't happen as quickly as it did with the stock pads and brake dust is almost non-existant. For $46 you cant go wrong. Just thought I'd shed some light on a cheaper option then most people usually talk about.
