my stoptech stage 2 kit came with axxis ultimates. they arnt bad. they have a fairly good bite and have held up through an entire season of autoX and onw track event. the dust isnt too bad and they are starting to squeek a little. but thats because that are over half worn out. when i first got them they did squeek at all. also axxis ultimates are extremely cheap ion price. i havent tried the hawks.

i've read to many horror stories from hawk hps owners who say that their pads are terrible in cold or rainy weather. any pad that needs to be warmed up for good performance is a no go for street use in my book. ive read many good things about the endless neuvo pads, good initial bite, little brake dust and no squeaking.

The Hawk HPS pads don't have as much bite as the Axxis Ultimates do, but they also produce hardly any dust. It is a tradeoff. The Hawks also don't have much bite when they are cold. I've had both on my StopTech BBK, but I like the Hawk pads just because of the dust issue.
