I dont' think that I have ever heard of that brand. Good luck getting feedback, maybe others have used it or heard of it.

I can't say I know a lot about them, but I've seen them on racecars before. I've also read that name on ads for racecars for sale. I'm guessing they are one of the premium names in brakes... Like AP Racing - Most people haven't heard of them either, but they put brakes on some Formula 1 cars.

wilwood is a great brand. Most of their stuff is race proven, and is very popular with track junkies and circuit racers...

They produce awesome equipment

People who know anything about brakes have heard of Wilwood. You may not need a set.

If you've never even heard of Wilwood, it probably means that you won't ever use it to its limits. Unless, of course, you want it for aesthetics.

There aren't even that many brake companies out there for you to not know some. Even a poser that has ever bought an issue of any tuner mag has heard of Wilwood. You'll get no sympathy here. Just so you have something to talk about at the next cocktail party, throw out names like Brembo, Wilwood, StopTech, Grex, Endless, Baer, Rotora, APRacing, and Project Mu. There are a few more but that should get you going.

You should just go with ACME brakes. My friend whiley loves that brand and they perform like nothing else. Much better that that Wilwood stuff.. They also have the ACME roadrunners which are the top of the line and run much less than Wilwood, Brmebo, StopTech...

I love the uneducated discussion here. ::sarcasm::

Let's not talk about specifics of what is required in good brakes and if Wilwood has these attributes or not. ::sarcasm again::

WTF is your problem *******. acting all smart because you're behind a computer. My question was to find out the quality of the brake system, not some smart *** answer. It sounds like you're trying to be the expert here.

My brother ran wilwoods' drag brake setup on his mustang, very nice and very light... Drag brakes are completely different from a street setup but they are very high quality, and probally represent their street stuff well...

My problem is you. I don't act smart because I am behind a computer. I AM SMART because I know these things. You made no attempt to to find the quality of the product because if you really needed the info, you would have searched online or at least asked in the BRAKES/SUSPENSION part of this forum. A better question would have been, "Are Wilwoods as good as XXXXbrand?" If you really needed Wilwoods and knew why you needed them, you could have searched their website to find performance stats and specs. You are now and always will be a poser ranking no higher than the Civic drivers w/BOV noise boxes.

What were you doing when you found the limits of your stock braking system? Do you get to that limit often? I am sure you weren't asking for aesthetic reasons because then the quality of the kit would not matter as much as what colors are available (which we all know is priority number one).
