I decided to remount my edfc unit in cover plate where the seat heater buttons are located after seeing it in Volk350z's Z (Thanks for the idea!!!). The spot imho is perfect for those without heated seats since the edfc is easily accessible and it does not requiring cutting into the actual center console. Plus I really like the way it looks I used a dremel to cut the mounting hole and the fit is tight enough without any brackets. If you mess up, the cover plate is only $8. BTW the part number is 68493-CD000.

 

Nice...that's where I was going to mount an EDFC type if I was to ever upgrade. Base = no buttons there.

Thanks Kenny!!! Yeah I was lucky to pick up a set of nearly brand new OEM burnt orange seats locally a while ago...now if I can only get my hands on an OEM burnt orange ebrake handle

 

You were lucky...if they are the same ones I'm thinking about...as I came very close to buying them myself. If I see an E-brake handle up for grabs I'll let you know. Glad to see you are still enjoying the Z.
