I just installed my tanabe pro sevens and because of the lack of height adj. the best cross weight the shop could get was 50.7. They didn't mess with the spring preloads at all. They said maybe relocating the battery to the rear would help. how many have done this or found this nessesaryu

It doesn't make sense, although your 50.7% cross weight isn't bad, they should be able to get it dead on.

Relocating the battery to the rear doesn't make sense for Crossweight, this would just help front/rear weight. They should be able to get perfect 50% on a 350Z. 50.7% isn't bad, but they say you can feel a difference after 50.5%.

A little off topic, but how much height adjustment do the pro seven's allow?
I've read another post somewhere where a person was saying they don't have much adjustment either. Just curious as I was thinking about getting them.

Yeah I wasn't to happy about it.. maybe it was their error, but they said the only way to get the perfect cross weight was to rasie the ride height near stock. This would probly negate the possitive effect of the corner balance anyway because of the high center of gravity. I'm talking to tanabe now so they can develop different base mounts for the dampners or shorter springs. Right now my ride height if 3/4 in higher then when my Jics were on. An example: my front right side is adjusted as low as possible and the rear left side is adj as high as possible and the cross weight still is'nt close. FR-916lbs & RL- 767 lbs. again they didn't mess with spring preload.
