Default Need advice on pads b/c HAWKS SUX

I have only changed my pads once and initially, the hawks were good but there was a major storm that came through and the pads couldn't stop worth shiet. It scared me that these pads really suxs in cold and wet weather.

I need advice on new pads b/c I am ready to pull the trigger. Which pad is good in dry/wet weather with good inital bite and low dust?

I have been using Satisfied Pro Ceramics for a while in both snow and high water and have no complaints at all.

if you are willing to splurge a little bit more then endless pads may be good for you.
Vita nuova's tend to be low dust, very rotor friendly, quiet, and do not need to get hot to stop

so.. for those endless pads it only looks like they sell the fronts for non-bembro cars atleast. Not sure on bembro models I didn't look. I think the CCX pads look good for me, I am an everyday driver but I also like to auto-x and visit the Tail of the Dragon 1-2 times a year. Would I have to go with different rears? I want to get the Stop Tech stage2 kit with rotors, SS lines, syth. fluid and Hawk pads. Then maybe switch the front pads to these CCX pads

OEM are like black spraypaint for your front rims. I think they stop pretty well, for their size. The factory squeel is nice too :P

+1, I made the change from the HPS pads and am glad I did. They do dust more than the HPS pads, but that is a trade off I am willing to live with.

I am at 2700 miles on my EBC Greenstuff and they work great in cold, wet weather (seems like all we've had lately. Very low dust and no squeaking. Paid 47 each end.

With the Hawk HPS pads you will lose that hard intial bite that the OEM pads have due to the different compound in the HPS pads but the HPS pads will perform better over OEM during hard braking. If you are looking for something with more of a bite go with the Nismo R-Tune pads, they perform well in hot or cold weather and the compound of the pad is not abrasive for the rotors.
