Default Factory Camber Adjustments?!?

Just got my car aligned and noticed that the front camber setting were not touched. The technician claims that there is no way to adjust camber for our cars from the factory. Is this true? Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the front camber settings without getting aftermarket a-arms?

He is right - no factory camber adjustment - just toe.

You are stuck getting aftermarket a-arms (well I guess you could change the ride height, that would change the camber too.)

Correct no factory camber adjustments. Don't believe there is any other way than aftermarket upper control arms.

Thanks for the input. Now I have a new dilemma:

Cusco A-arms or Kinetix A-arms??

I don't want to spend crazy amount of money on these. I know Stillen and 350evo make REALLY good arms, but its a bit to pricey for me. My main concern is trying to try to bring the camber back or as close to spec as possible. I don't plan to do some track time but if I ever do (which is highly possible), I would like to know that they can survive the onslaught.

Any suggestions? First hand experience would be a great help.

Thanks again.

I bought the Cusco's they are very well made and can be had for under $400, but they don't give you enough positive camber adjustment. If you drop your car more than 1.5" its not cutting it, the EVO arms are your best bet. Spending the extra $350 will save you alot of tire money in the long run.

If i had to do it again I would go EVO A-arms.

if youre really in a bind, you can get cusco arms and modify them to accomodate more adjustment.

Have you seen or heard anyone modding them to do so? sounds like a good idea, but I'd be concerned with compromising the integrity of the arms.

Do they mod the sliding plate with a drummel or something?
