Default Which springs for me?

Wanting better turn-in on the corners but a decent ride. Also I have a lot of weight in the rear of the car due to stereo system so I guess this would impact would spring rates I'd want in the back. Also looking for minimal drop as there are potholes and dips everywhere around here. Recommendations extremely appreciated.

Hey Wren, I used the S-techs on my Z. My spare tire well is filled with about 50lbs of stereo euipment. The drop look good, even with a full tank of gas. Car still handles beautiful.

I'm pretty sure the Hotchkis Springs have the least amount of drop, just under 1". Eibach Pro Kit is 1" all the way around.

We have both in-stock.

I would go with the Nismo S-tune or similar. Most of the company's that sell springs have rates that are equal to, or softer than stock.

I believe that you have a 03 car and I'm going to shape my reply on those lines, if you don't have a 03 or 04 I think you'll be able to read between the lines. So as opposed to just cutting to the chase and pinning the best choice for your want's and needs, having a 03 car's shocks does put some weight on recommending the Hotchkis springs, that in spite of their giving you a slightly softer rear spring rate then oem. But that slight dip in rear rate helps them work pretty well with your oem shocks, which is exactly why Hotchkis picked the rear spring rate that they did. That being said, the RSR setup "technically" will provide the best choice of all spring choices, other's will either have progressive coils and theirfore dull the turn in performance you want or they will have too much drop. Both the RSR and the Hotchkis springs will offer you linear springs and a mild drop. Between the two I'm more inclinded to recommend the Hotchkis.
