Rear Caliper Bolts
I recently purchased the Stoptech Stage 2 upgrade kit and am having the worst time attempting to get the rear calipers off. I haven't even attempted the fronts yet. The two bolts attaching the caliper seem to be welded on (figuratively). Any suggestions on how to remove them? I have already tried liquid wrench and it made absolutely no difference.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Get a small 5 lb hammer. I just replaced my rotors a couple of weeks ago... These bolts are very hard/awkward to get off, but with a little elbow grease and a hammer they'll move.

you might be able to do it w/just a wrench and then hit the wrench w/the hammer and see if that "shocks" the bolt loose. mine weren' that tight, i just hit the wrench w/my hand a few times and it broke loose. wouldn't hurt to soak it in some wd40

I just changed out my pads and had my rotors turned this weekend as well. Definately a PITA. Ended up buying a 19mm and a 22mm wrench and just hammered away on them. After you remove the front caliper bolts the rotor might still be stuck on there (was in my case). There isn't anything else holding it down. Just get a rubber mallet or use a towel and a hammer and gently hammer it from the back while rotating the rotor and it should come off. Hope that helps.

I already tried a 19mm wrench and a hammer and had absolutely no success with that. I guess a 1/2" breaker bar will do; it might provide a lot more leverage than a 3/8".
