Default Another stupid brake caliper painting thread

2006 redline with stock wheels.

What color would you paint them,, if you were going to paint them?

I don't like red because I don't like how it blends in with the car.

I don't like silver because it clashes with the wheels.

I don't like black because it dissapears into the background.

Blue sucks too.

Yellow is horrid

I know I will get flamed for this but I was thinking of possibly Gold, similar to the brembo shade.

I saw a redline pic that somebody had painted them gold and it really didn't look bad but wish I could find the damn pic again to make sure.

Maybe a really dark charcoal gray would work???

I was also thinking of maybe just doing black with "Nissan" decals in silver or white on the front calipers only and no decal on the rears at all??

save the money from the paint and invest it in a company called Medtronics. After a year or so you will have enough to get rid of the stockers and go BBK

A grad student in my school made a device for medtronics that uses the actual sound of your heart to see if you have heart disease.. its like an EKG but its called a Sonocardiogram... its an awsome machine.

he could buy one share of MDT with paint money. Dont think 1 share of MDT is gonna do much for him.

i just checked their NYS price and it is $48/share. Unless you have thousands to invest, your not going to make anything. they are a big company though; $10 billion company.

Painting works great and is an easy way to improve the look of your brakes. Period.

Are the stock brembo's painted or powdercoated?
If painted with a custom color will the brake dust eventually eat threw the paint?
