Default LOW Drop, what do i need?

i think i've desided to drop with 350z tokiko d-specs and one of the tanabe 210 springs. whichever drops the most and drop evenly. i'm still not familiar with camber and toe. i know i'll need aftermarket camber kit otherwise i'll have way to much NEG. camber right???? i want to be able to fall back into OEM specs, which is -.5 to -1. what do i need? i don't want to spend to much, for i'll not be going to tracks or anything. thanks

Eibach and SGP have nice rear camber and toe kits for around $250.00. SGP is coming out with front A-arms to adjust camber as well. Cusco has some out now that a pretty good.

If you're dropping by over 1 inch and want to maintain factory negative camber specs then most likely yes.

so... what are a-arms? camber adustment for the front only? whats in the back?

The replacement A-arms are for the front, the SPC Camber Kit I mentioned consists of a Camber Arm and Toe Bolt for the rear only. Read through the thread I posted a link to here, lots of info there that should help you out:

Hello aleok

We've had a lot of end users with the GF210 spring report back that they were able to lower their car and get it realigned back within factory specs without needing a camber kit.

Perhaps some GF210 spring owners can chime in with their own experience with this!

so the Cusco a-arms and the SPC camber kit (camber arm and toe bolts) is a good combo? will it provide enough adjustability with such a low drop? about 1.5-2 inches. is that all i would need to solve camber problems with the drop?

If it helps, I have the NF210s with SPC camber and toe kit in the rear and nothing in the front. I'm running 19/9.5 in the front and 19/10.5 rear. Everything stays in spec except the front camber. Mine measures out to 2.2 on the left and 1.8 on the right. (factory range 0.2-1.3). After 6000 miles, I have no unusual tire wear. Bear in mind the NF210 lowers the front more than the GF210, so your camber may be better.

FYI, just make sure they have the current specs. Nissan changed them about a year ago. If you don't you will burn through your rears.

As far as the toe bolts, they work fine but the left rear is just about to the end of the adjustment range. Some guys don't have enough adjustment. If I had to do it again, I would spend the money on the toe arms. Stillen, JIC, Hotchkis and a few others make them and they run around 400.

As far as the Cusco a-arms, some have noted that it doesn't give enough adjustability (+/- 0.5). SPC is supposed to come out with some of there own, but they are still in development.

I have Koni Yellows in the closet. I was waiting for the stocks to go out before replacing them, but they seem to be holding up ok. Ofcourse handeling would be improved with the Konis, the for now the ride is still better than stock so I'll wait.

yeah, stock shocks will hold up for a bit but sooner then later they will start riding like crap. i just wanted a subtle drop without having to mess with camber kits and shocks so i went with the hotchkis springs and sways.

Sorry to steal the thread but maybe you guys would know this. I have the Eibach pro kit (it should be a 1 inch drop) and the camber of my car looks crazy right now, will i need to get a camber correction kit?

Second question

if my rims have an offset of +15 in the rear, will i have to raise my car due to the tight fitment, if camber is corrected? in this case there would be no point of buying the camber kit.

any help would be great.

You should be all set with those and a good alignment shop. If you can wait, consider holding out till the new SPC A-arms come out. They are supposed to be real nice.

I believe the SPC's will be about the same price as Cuscos, maybe a little less.

Your going to be waiting awhile, GF210's aren't that much stiffer them oem. Is your car a 03/04?
