Yesterday, I installed new Hawks and had my factory rotors turned(first time) by a local machine-shop. I read the "how-to" carefully and didn't run into any surprises. After heating them up and following Zechausens "bedding-in" instructions, I'm getting a regular knocking sound as they turn. A mechanic friend is trying to tell me the machine-shop did a "fast cut" and the sound I'm hearing is the pads sticking. I'm not looking to get beat-on. I tried to search first and came up empty. Anybody have any suggestions?
