help w/ brake pads???your opinions please
I've done a search but need more. I want to change my front pads as i cant stand all the dust they put on my wheels. I dont track my car and feel im pretty easy on the brakes. my car has 20k on it so the rotors should be fine, what would be a good set of pads that have little to no dust, they must be quiet also, all recommendations welcome, thanks..

I'm running EBC Greenstuff now on non-Brembo's and really like them. Way less dust, low noise and good bite. Plus they are priced well.

i will check rotors when i change them out, but i doubt i will have to do anything, im not agressive on the brakes, the stock pads still have tons of meat left also. this sucks though still everyone has a diff opinion. i dont want to spend 90+ on pads either. I'm 50/50 on the hawks with some say good, others say suck. havent heard alot about ebc except no/low dust?

I like my Project MU's all around. But since you don't care about track or anything, Hawks should be all you need.
As far as rotors are concerned, I would really have them resurfaced. I resurface my rotors everytime I change my pads. It doens't matter how easy you are on them, after time the surface is not smooth anymore, why put a smooth pad on a rotor that won't make 100% contact. That will just reduce the contact area and decrease your brake performance.

I switched over from stock to the Hawk street pads and love them, long life, no noise, low dust and better braking. I also went ahead and got slotted / drilled rotors & stoptech SS brake lines with my setup. Looks and performs real well, would deff. buy these pads again.

no brakes work well, by nature, when they are submerged in water
Project Mu makes excellent pads...they are just so scarcely stocked in the US that it's ridiculous
The HPS is a great all around, OE replacement pad that lasts a good long while and dusts less than stock. The trick to making them, or any pad, work well, is proper break in, and mating them to a rotor that is within factory specs. For more performance, and a very good price, the HP + are an excellent pad, though they will emit more dust than an HPS
If low dust is your primary goal, get something ceramic
