Default powdercoating calipers

How much did you pay to powdercoat your calipers? I'm in talks with a local company that will do it at $80 a person if I get 4 people (which I think I have), but I want to know if this is a good discounted price or if its not really any better than without a group buy. Thanks.

I had mine done by Mike at

and he did the most beautifull job ever. After some 25K miles they still look perfect, like candy. Mine are red to match the car.

I added the lettering

Back then I think it was $175 (all 4 calipers and brackets). You ship to him, he would pay shipping back. They came carefully wrapped. Also, you could select to have them sanded for that smooth look or just coated. I opted for sanding etc so it was a few bucks more than just plain coat.

Since then he setup the web site etc. The prices are there...

As a side note, he does this as a hobby. Mike is actually an airline pilot. He takes extreme care to do the sanding and coating perfectly. Several people our club have used his service and I have never heard of anybody (club or web) not been 1000% satisfied.
