Default Need HELP!! Powdercoating my brakes.

So I decided to powdercoat my brakes and my appointment is for monday, action powdercoating is doing them for me. I was wondering what color you guys think looks best with the IP. I know some of you are against that and would say get yourself a BBK but due to my new rims and the big lip that is not possible therefore painting them is the closest I can get, I think. My next question is do you guys know where I can also by the infiniti letters that go on the brakes, and the quickest way to get them. They asked me to drop off the calipers monday and I would have them on tuesday, does that sound right or is there a quicker place that does them. Thanks in advance for replies and need help ASAP. Thank you.

ebay for the stickers

you want something faster than a 1 day turn around for powdercoating? Not going to happen.

you CANNOT powdercoat brakes unless you feel like removing the seals and reinstalling afterwards (not fun)

Thats funny, because http://thepowdercoater.com/ has been doing it for members of this forum for a few years with no problems.

I would not do it, but to each their own.

wow....no powdercoater I know in our area will touch a set of calipers unless they are 100% disassembled, with all seals and pistons removed

what's even more interesting is that Action is the main place we use and Vinny (owner?) told me specifically he would not do them because it risks ruining the seals. I was not about to take my calipers apart for this

Good luck
