Default Taking off brakes

I want to powder coat/paint my breaks black. How difficult is it remove the brakes? Do I need to drain the fluids before attempting this?

It is a fairly easy DIY. I would not recommend draining the fluid. Just plug the lines.

do not drain all the fluid.you will have a hell of a time bleeding the air out of the abs system.also do not you vice grips on the brake lines.take some string tie it around the brake lines and point them straight up.find some rubber plugs and put them in the ends of the lines.
