Default Are the factory rotors for brembo setup really this much $$??

I was just looking at the mynismo site and they have the OEM rotors for the brembo brakes listed at $375 apiece. Am I reading that right or am I missing something?

If so, that price is insanely high!

Brembo is the OEM manufacturer for the brake rotors on my 97 M3, which I have ordered from bimmerparts for about $65.

Where's the best place to order replacement rotors?

Yeah if you get them from the dealer. You can get replacement rotors for alot less anywhere else. Tirerack sells numerous different brands for a fraction of that price:

You can get Brembo rotors from the Tire Rack. They come either slotted or cross-drilled. They are $373/pr for the front and $356/pr for the rear. I have the slotted ones on my car, and couldn't be happier with them. Cheaper than getting OEM blanks from the dealer too...

Drilled: http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...ion&perfCode=S

Ditto on the OEM Brembo replacements, I used slotted to replace stock Track Brembos and they work fine.

yes the OE rotors are VERY expensive...

best option is the above stated 2 piece stop tech rotors or their single piece rotors...

the 2 piece will be cheaper for you in the long run and a much much much better rotor...

The OEM rotors should last you at least 1 resurface (thats 2 sets of pads, one that came with your car and one you switch out when needed). So depending on your driving style, and the types of pads you did you first replacement with, I would expect to keep the OEM rotors for 40-60k miles.

The only reason I had to change my rear rotors already is cuz the inside pad was low and I only checked the outsides. Then when I realized they were low, it took almost a month for my pads to come in after I ordered them (Project MU B-Force), and by that time my rotors were beyond resurfacing.
