Possible Cheap OEM Brake Upgrade
So coming from the 240sx's alot of people are upgrading to skyline and z32 brakes. Looking at the skyline brakes and then a set of oem brembo's the mounting holes look nearly identical, the difference is that skyline brakes are around 250 a caliper where brembos are well rediculous.
Does anyone know if a skyline caliper would work on a 350z, cuz like many I dont have the brembos and would love a cheaper alternative considering I dont track my Z and they would be mostly for looks and a little better stopping power.

First of all... the Brembo calipers posted above are for the B15 SENTRA Spec-V...
They will NOT bolt up to the 350Z and are fit 12" rotors... the OE 350Z rotors are 11.7"... Those calipers are made for a car that weights 2700lbs... not the 3350 of the Z...
The SKyline calipers is a better thought... They bolt up, but the offset of the caliper / rotor is wrong and a spacer / bracket would need to be used... its such a slight amount that making an actual mounting bracket adapter wouldnt be worth it...
The best options are the OE Brembo Upgrade for the 350Z if you can find a used one... or a Stop Tech upgrade kit...

the brembos posted are pictures from another members add selling them for the 350z.

if they bolt up then making a spacer doesnt seem like it would be all that difficult.

Yes I am very familiar with his selling thread.. those brembo calipers are for a SENTRA...
he has another thread here...
see my reply...

even if you take the time to engineer a bracket... you will be putting on a caliper that will already be overworked trying to stop the weith of the Z...
