Maximum, I am not sure by the picture you posted if I am looking at the inside or ouside of the rotor so I cant say for sure which side it is for. From what I can tell, it would seem that the rotors when mounted on the car will have both the internal vanes and slots/drills slanting rearward at the top of the rotor.
thats what i was saying all along

which is the opposite of this

So what I have been told, the fins have to face to grab cool air..

Normally Aero rotors such as that are designed to have the air come from the inside to outer side, so in the case you are explaining it would be backwards.

Maximum, the rotor when mounted would be spinning in the opposite direction you have indicated. Read carefully:

WHEN MOUNTED ON THE CAR, THE SLOTS AND INTERNAL VANES OF THOSE ROTORS WILL BE SLANTING REARWARDS AT THE TOP OF THE ROTORS.

I cannot make it any clearer than that.

Aren't the vanes slanted the wrong direction? Like stoptech said, they should be slanting rearward at the top of the rotor.

Ive contacted Maximum and we have him all sorted out.

When I say slanting rearward at the top of the rotor, the slots would be like this ////

On our AeroRotors, the slots slant forward when properly installed like this \\\

This is assuming you are looking at the left or drivers side of the car. Again, the slots a should not be used to determine proper rotor installation. The internal vanes are the important factor. Regardless of the slot direction, the internal vanes would be oriented like this ///// on the left side of the car to promote proper cooling and airflow.

i understand i am wrong.. i get that.. but what i am trying to explain to him is.. he has the right rotor.. wrong direction..

yes its the passenger side rotor.. but arrow pointing counter clockwise would indicate reversing.. not going forward

If we are looking at the outer face of the rotors, this would be the proper installation:

This is one of the best posts I've seen in some time. After we're all done here, can we all congregate in the middle of the room and run around bumping into eachother? Thanks.

This is assuming that you have a LEFT hand drive Z...

Passenger = Right Side of Drivers Perspective...
Driver = Left side of Drivers Perspective
