Default Brake Discs?

Hey guys I just bought a used 350Z touring 6spd. I came in on trade to the Nissan dealer I sell at. I need new brake pads for a safety and am going to get Nismo pads. I also either need to machine the current discs or just get new discs. Any recommendations? Brands? Slotted or not?

Thanks for the help!

what year?

you should just get new rotors... 90% of the time when you machine the current rotors there is not enough thickness left on them to last the life of the new pads or much time at all!

If you want to take a ride over to us I can get you some stop tech rotors adn nismo pads...

Ok the supplier I deal with carries EBC discs anyone have any thoughts about those? Will the slots eat up the Nismo pads? Also how have people found the noise of a slotted disc?

Thanks

Sounds like you got things covered... the supplier should beable to help you rite?

Are you planning on putting new rotors on used pads? If so its the rotors you have to worry about no matter what they are...

Then you shouldnt have any problems...

I have no experience with EBC Rotors, I think I read a post someone used them once...
