Help adjusting rear Tokico D-Specs
I searched around, and there seems to be no conclusive info on this - I'd like to drill the rear brace to gain access to the tops of my D-Specs so I can quickly adjust them at the track without carrying tools and jacking the car up etc.
Has anybody done this? If so, do you have any pictures? What size drill bit did you use?
I guess the 'X' in this picture is where I need to drill?
Any help is appreciated.

I'm assuming you are referring to the remote cable.
For the G's, on Driver, someone did a writeup on what they did. They basically drilled straight up from where the top of the shock mounts and mounted the remote cable inside the car.

well, they make the extension cables. I bought a pair and the quality sucked! stay away fro them.
-they roate freely and dont have a stop or start point so you only are guessing where you start. when i set my shocks, i set them to full firm and then backoff the turns (more consistent and accurate). Well, youll have to remember where you are at in turns and with each adjustment youll be off a bit from the other side.
-during my install one broke! james wie from creativeautoworks said hed take care of me but it hasnt happend

No, I just plan on using a 3mm allen key (I will just need to remember how many turns I made at the last adjustment - but it's no big deal), and gain access in 2 seconds by lifting off the plastic trim on the rear strut bar. I guess I will go ahead and just drill where I made the 'x' on the picture.

The allen key I bought (in the picture) is 12cm long, but I think around 8cm long will be fine. It helps having the handle too - because it's easier to see how many turns (or half turns) you have just made.

And you don't need to remember where you are, you can always count conter clockwise until you are at full stiff.
I agree on creative autowork sucking ***, lol.

SEARS or your local auto store will have a 3"-5" allen wrench to reach in there.
Works for me.
