I'm suprised how brilliant the green is, as I thought that they would be a much paler green. Can you also get the replacement rings without the hat?

coz green would look so good against gold wheels and gold brembos on a black car

ill match em up with hot pink racing stripes

why are the hats green though? arent all project mu discs their infamous aqua blue color?

Yes you can run OEM BREMBO pads with these rotors. The Rotors will not do anything with the pedal feel unless you change your lines. These rotors will help reduce and disapate thermal energy over stock. Id recommend getting SS lines for a firmer pedal feel which is more than streetable. These rotors are 16 pounds which would be roughly about 25% lighter than the factory BREMBO rotors which will help acceleration. The hat is removable and it shouldnt be that hard to take off. Id personally leave the color of the hat to distinguish that it is a Project Mu rotor, might be easier to score points at shows too if thats what you are into. Project Mu makes a rear rotor but it is not a 2 piece. The front rotor uses an aluminum hat and the rear does not because the aluminum hat can melt if you use your e-brake excessively like when you are drifting. STOPTECH does make a 2 piece rear rotor as well. We have the matching rear rotors coming in this week.

thanks for the info Andy

who manufacturers the stoptech discs? I know some brands like the Stillen for example, are actually our DBA 4000s re-packaged. Just before this forum, i had never heard of stoptech

can you take some pics of the Stoptech discs when they come in. Id also prefer a good looking hat if im going 2 piece. I love the look of the ceramic discs/hats on our F430 + 996TT S through the wheels

STOPTECH actually manufacuters their own 2 piece Aerorotors. I have the STOPTECH 2 piece rotors and love them, they look exactly the same as any of their BBK rotors. The only downside to them is that theyre always backordered and currently still is(reason why I ordered these PMU 2 piece rotors) and the spring washers on them wear out pretty fast causing an annoying clicking sound coming to stops.
