Suspension reviews on a garage queen show car aren't really worth the time to read, don't you think? Not hating, just pointing something out...

Considering i was driving my car every day 60+ miles a day, and through canyons and the hills in my area EVERY DAY, yeah, i guess you're right, no point to make at all.....

and not everyone who wants input on suspension tracks their car. suspension upgrades are not just for track guys

good point, i'll note that.

not hating, just pointing something out LOL

The new 3-ways are in route to me as we speak! Not sure if it will be this weekend or next weekend, but I am excited!

Keep a look out for a review posted in the next week or 2!

Is it still the "true" coilover in the rear?

KW variant 3 does not have true coiloves in the rear, the rear spring and shock mount in OEM locations.

In the KW literature they show use of the stock upper strut mount for the Front and Rear. It this still the case with the V3 system?

Yes, the variant 3 setup still uses the OEM upper strut mounts. This makes install on the fronts a bit of a pain, since you do have to disassemble parts to re-use... But it's worth it, it shows in the overall price of the kit IMO, as there are fewer pieces that are needed to be made, costs are cut, and that's why you get a great setup for a decent price.
