Default Did the shop screw my car up?

Today, a local shop installed SPC rear camber and toe kit on my car. Since they complaind my car is really low and required special equipment to do the alignment, I have to find another shop to get the job completely done. The mechanic tried his best to align the rear wheels with eyes and recommend me to get it aligned as soon as possible. After I get home, I noticed there are unequal distances between the top of two rear tires and rear fenders. on the left side, I can fit two fingers between tire and fender, on the other side, I can fit three fingers between them. Before, I could only fit two fingers on both sides. Anything the mechanic screwed up during installation? Will it be ok after alignment?

Was the car sitting on a flat, level surface when you made your left-to-right side height comparison?

I wouldn't say they screwed up your car but since they couldn't do an alignment I would get that done to make sure it is aligned! As for the shop you went to I'd avoid them in the future! Sounds like they just wanted to take your money...

the SPC kit does not affect rideheight

what are you using to lower your car? Springs? Coilovers?

Thanks for help. I am running with 350Z H-tech springs. I have got the car properly aligned on Thuesday. The distance between rear tires and rear fenders have come back as before. The mechanic roughly explain the reason for the diffence I found that newly installed SPC kit without proper alignment caused the problem.
